Falling Awake brought Mike to the national spotlight on CNN, Rolling Stone Magazine and landing several songs from the album in major television series. Events which have included a deployment to Iraq, birth of his second daughter, several moves and transfers with the Marines and garnering national radio and television airplay for his song "On My Watch Tonight" from the 2005 CD Falling Awake. Start Saving Me contains 11 brand new tracks filled with the rollercoaster of emotions and personal events that have taken place during the three years since his previous release.
